Voice User Interface Research & Design Specialist
Russian Language and Linguistics honors student with voice recognition software industry experience seeks Voice User Interface (VUI) research or design career following spring 2012 graduation. Demonstrated success in the following:

Image Cataloger / Slavic Selection Library Aide Jan 2011 – Present
Catalog images and metadata using Microsoft Access for William Brumfield Russian Architecture Collection. Contribute project standards, procedures and best practices, and analyze hundreds of photographs and write meaningful titles/subjects for search engine optimization (SEO). As Aide, processed incoming books (i.e. gifts, exchanges, orders), transcribed Slavic languages for search purposes, and assisted in organization of section pre-catalog area.

Localization Assistant, Part-time Jan 2009 – Mar 2009
Assisted with localization process for US English. Cross-checked system responses with VUI flows, verified command lists, and identified inconsistencies in keyword and command usage. Used TortoiseSVN, Excel and Visio.
Junior Voice Interaction Designer Sep 2007 – Oct 2008
Created interaction design flows using Visio, XHTML/jQuery-powered interactive design prototypes and command generation and development. Designed and implemented usability studies for navigational, music, calling (dialing, contact management) and business searching products. Managed localization process, and contributed to design and development of VUI team processes and work flows.

Performed usability studies for VUI and Agent teams, and developed testing methodologies. Aggregated and analyzed data, and prepared reports. Contributed to study marketing projects and usability subject selection.
